Bait and Switch

So I now hate Green Toyota on. Today I was ready to buy my new car: a 2005 Solara Convertible. I checked it out yesterday, got a price quote, and then went back this afternoon with my dad. We took it for a test drive, really liked it, and went in to buy it. While waiting for them to come back with how much my car was going to be for trade in, the sales guy comes back out and says, "I made a mistake, that price I quoted you is for a different car, a 2006 hardtop. You're car is $6,000 more" My dad and I were shocked, and I was pissed. All ready to buy then they say that. So i'm already very pissed, and I go to grab my keys (they took my car out to get an idea of the value) and I hear the manager guy finish a sentence, "Well, they should have known the price was wrong." Yeah, I did know the price, and the first price they quoted was a little under blue book value which is expected since this was a 2005 with 29,000 miles already and a few scratches to the paint. The "new" price is 4 grand over blue book. I did my reasearch, thought it was a good deal, all ready to buy, and then BAM, "sorry that's not the price, you should have know that, you idiot". screw them. My dealer was a nice guy who actually liked car shopping with, and probably just made a honest mistake, but screw his boss, his attitude and Green Toyota on Wabash.

And I was already to say bye to my baby too.....

In other news, my grandma rules, got to talk to her for about an hour to day. Love her. And Amanda rules for putting me in a better mood. Dinner time, work Sat night, come visit.

my girlfriend rocks but is sick

So I'm writing this from sicky girls apartment. The doctor says she has mono, who the hell was she kissing that's not me? Poor girl.

In other news, Springfield got hit hard by tornados. Boo for natural distasters. It really sucks for everyone but why do people keep insisting it looks like New Orleans after Katrina. It doesn't look like it at all for one reason and one reason only: THERE IS NO STANDING WATER EVERYWHERE. Rant over. Hopefully everyone who had major damage can get back on their feet quickly. Our close family friend Tinker has major roof damage but it looks fixable, so that's lucky. No one else I know had major damage. Darcy's lost their big sign, but nothing else so they should be ready to serve WAY too many people on St Patty's. A big tear for the barrelhead too, hopefully they can tear down and rebuild quickly so I eat their yummy tater tots.

Sat St Patty parade is postponed a week. Thanks to that I now work this Sat and next Sat, making 5 Saturdays in a row. Oh well, money money money. And it should help the bar be busier both Friday and next Sat since people won't take it easy Friday now to start early Saturday, yay for bar logic!

GO ILLINI! 6:30pm Thursday vs Air Force, come watch at Browns! $2.00 Imports and a sexy bartender: ME!

And I think this ends my longest blog post in a long time. Later gator

Kyle Kyle Kyle Kyle

I forgot to mention Kyle. Kyle is great, he enjoys the big tv as much as me. he also enjoys drinking, megatouch, chicken wings, and pinball (even though I kick his ass at it). In conclusion, I like Kyle, he is my friend.

My blog is going nowhere

My blog sucks, yes. But I still blog away non stop. Hell yeah.

So life is going pretty damn good. Important meeting with an investment banking on Monday. Hopefully I can get a job underwriting municiple bonds. Would be great money and start a career that leads me to lots of money with lots of time off. Wish me luck.

Amanda still rules by the way. The TV still rules. We have the most crazy setup of all time with MAME arcade joysticks and robyn's computer running through the giant TV. My car is still running surprisingly, need a new one that I can afford. I work a lot still, bar is nice and busy, making more there than the bank. I guess that is all, later people. Keep ya head up Shoo!
